Paddle Level Sensor


Cosben Engineering’s paddle level sensor is designed for detecting minimum or maximum material levels inside bins, hoppers, and silos. In bulk material handling systems, accurate level monitoring is important to avoid overflow, empty running, or process interruptions. This is where a reliable rotary paddle level switch becomes useful.

The PLS-type bin level switch works on a simple rotary mechanism. The paddle remains stationary when it is in contact with the material. As soon as the material level drops below the paddle radius, it starts rotating - providing an electrical signal for level indication.

Also used as a silo level sensor for powders and bulk solids, it offers a practical solution for monitoring material levels in various industrial applications.
