Plough Share Mixer

Cosben Engineering’s plough share mixer is designed for fast and uniform mixing of powders and bulk materials, especially where consistency and short cycle times are critical. In many industrial processes, uneven mixing leads to quality variations, poor material behavior, and inefficiencies further down the line. A properly designed industrial plough mixer helps eliminate these issues.

Also referred to as a ploughshare mixer or plough mixer machine, this system works on a fluidized mixing principle. High-speed plough-shaped elements continuously lift and disperse the material, creating a mechanically fluidized bed. This allows particles to mix rapidly and uniformly, even in demanding applications.

For processes that require liquid addition or intensive blending, the system can be equipped with high-speed choppers - making it an effective high intensity mixer for powder processing.
