Feeder Equipment

Feeders don’t make headlines. But they quietly decide whether a plant runs smoothly or not. When feeding goes off, you see it immediately, mixes go out of spec, conveyors choke, batches fail and production becomes a guessing game. That’s why feeder equipment needs to be accurate, tough and matched to how the material actually behaves, not a one-size-fits-all box.

Designed for accuracy, stability and control

Feeder Equipment

A feeder’s job is control, not just movement. Cosben feeders are built to stay stable even when material properties vary from batch to batch.

We focus on:

  • steady feed rates with minimal fluctuation
  • accurate dosing for batch and continuous processes
  • smooth handover from hopper to downstream equipment
  • easy access for calibration, inspection and routine maintenance
Where feeding accuracy impacts product quality or cost, loss-in-weight and micro-batch solutions give the control you need to keep things predictable.

BUILT FOR INDUSTRIAL USE, BACKED BY OEM SUPPORT

At Cosben Engineering we build feeders for real plants. As an industrial feeder equipment manufacturer and OEM, we design and make bulk material feeding equipment that gives steady, repeatable flow across a wide range of powders and solids. Some jobs need tight, gravimetric dosing. Others need a steady, no-fuss feed. Either way, our feeders are meant to run, not to be babysat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a loss-in-weight feeder and a volumetric feeder?
Loss-in-weight feeders meter by weight-higher accuracy. Volumetric feeders meter by volume and are fine where small variations are acceptable.
Use them when you need precise small-quantity additions-think additives, colorants or recipe ingredients where a few grams matter.
It's a two-screw arrangement: a primary "mother" screw and a secondary "daughter" that stabilises the feed. Great for difficult or erratic powders.
Yes. We customise designs to suit material behaviour so flow stays steady and dosing stays accurate.
Yes. We design feeders for both modes depending on your process needs.
Absolutely. We tailor installations to fit silos, hoppers, conveyors and control systems with minimal disruption.
Yes - we offer installation guidance, commissioning support and after-sales service to get you up and running and keep you there.
An OEM brings engineering depth, proper integration, genuine spares and long-term support-fewer surprises and lower lifecycle cost.
